As our nation celebrates its 250th birthday, The Patterson Foundation invites you to experience Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass: A Walk to Respect, a performance that explores how courage, curiosity, and community have shaped our nation and why those values still hold meaning today.
Through theater and spoken word poetry, this one-act play brings the lives of two extraordinary leaders into the present, inviting reflection on dialogue, respect, and bridging deep divides. It also opens the door to questions that remain relevant today:
- How do we find our way to understanding?
- Where can we uncover common ground?
- What can history teach us about building trust during divided times?
